WHERE WE ARE
Government of Zimbabwe - Ministry of Health and Child Care
Since 2019, Friendship Bench Zimbabwe has worked in partnership with the Government of Zimbabwe Ministry of Health and Child Care within the National Strategic Plan for Mental Health Services. Under Objective 2: Improving mental health awareness and community empowerment, activity 2.4 - Adoption of the Friendship Bench as a MoHCC programme to strengthen community based mental health and psychosocial support services in Zimbabwe. Friendship Bench Zimbabwe is in the process of handing over to the Government of Zimbabwe to become the doer at scale across all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe.

Pangaea Zimbabwe
Pangaea Zimbabwe is a local non-profit organization working to improve the health and well-being of people in Zimbabwe. Pangaea Zimbabwe partners with governments, academia, other organisations, the private sector, civil society, and communities to bring about transformation through the provision of quality health care, education, and opportunities for meaningful economic participation. They do this by using evidence and research to develop and deliver novel programs that increase access to services, change behaviours and improve lives. Pangaea Zimbabwe is committed to supporting progress toward universal health coverage, HIV epidemic control, and ending AIDS by 2030.

CeSHHAR Zimbabwe
CeSHHAR Zimbabwe is an organisation that specialises in population health research and programming, including on sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.The partnership was initiated in 2019 in response to results from surveys conducted within CeSHHAR, which indicated a high prevalence of common mental disorders among sex workers. Feedback from a consultative
workshop highlighted the need for peer-to-peer mental health support for sex workers and individuals identifying as LGBTQIA+.
